Everything you need to know before you switch
For bookings and the floor plan alone, Chaize is cheaper. Couverty adds the card guarantee, the menu, the daily menu and the Google Business Profile.For bookings, the floor plan and the guest list, Chaize is cheaper: CHF 40 excl. VAT a month per venue. Gourmet (CHF 69 a month, no commitment) adds the online menu with QR code, the daily menu and the menu of the week, management of your Google Business Profile from Couverty (Book button, Menu and Website links), the WordPress plugin and the API. Épicurien (CHF 99) adds the card guarantee against no-shows, events and social media posters. With few online bookings, Gourmand costs CHF 2.00 per honoured booking: 15 bookings a month come to CHF 30.
Chaize sends a reminder the day before and a reconfirmation request that you trigger by hand. Couverty adds the card guarantee.Chaize sends the confirmation and an email reminder the day before, and you can ask the guest to reconfirm, a message you trigger by hand. We found no SMS, card guarantee or prepayment on its website. Couverty sends reminders automatically on every plan; with Épicurien, you ask for a card guarantee via Stripe on the evenings you choose. The card is only charged if the guest fails to turn up and has not cancelled in time.
Couverty has its iPhone app on the App Store. Chaize has an Android app; an iPhone version has been announced.The Couverty app is on the App Store: your bookings and their notifications on your iPhone. On Android, Couverty runs in the browser. Chaize released its Android app at the end of September 2026 and has announced an iPhone version, which was not on the Swiss App Store as of 8 October 2026.
Export your guest list as a CSV file from Chaize and send it to us: we import it.Chaize lets you export your bookings and your guest list as CSV files. Send the guest list to contact@couverty.ch and we import it into your Couverty account. You then replace the widget code on your website, then the link on your Google Business Profile, or you turn on the Book button from Couverty. Allow about an hour.
