For bookings and the floor plan alone, Piktable is cheaper. Couverty adds the online menu, the daily menu, the Google Business Profile, the WordPress plugin and the API.For bookings and the floor plan alone, Piktable is cheaper: CHF 49 a month, billed annually. Gourmet, at CHF 69 a month with no commitment, adds what Piktable does not advertise: the online menu with QR code, the daily menu and the menu of the week published on your page, management of your Google Business Profile from Couverty (Book button, Menu and Website links), the WordPress plugin and the API. If you receive few online bookings, Gourmand costs CHF 2.00 per honoured booking and nothing when there are no bookings: 15 bookings a month come to CHF 30.
Piktable relies on reminders, optional SMS and a blacklist. Couverty adds the card guarantee, charged only if the guest does not turn up.Piktable advertises email reminders, SMS as a paid option and a no-show or blacklist status on the guest record. We found neither a card guarantee nor prepayment on its website. Couverty sends reminders and keeps the blacklist on every plan; with Épicurien (CHF 99 a month), you ask for a card guarantee via Stripe on the evenings you choose. The card is only charged if the guest fails to turn up and has not cancelled within the deadline you set.
With Couverty, yes: the booking widget appears in French, German, Italian or English depending on the guest's browser. Piktable is in French.The Couverty booking widget appears in your guest's browser language (French, German, Italian or English), otherwise in your restaurant's language, and your dashboard is also available in German, Italian and English. Piktable's website, booking page and support are in French as of 8 October 2026, which is enough if all your guests speak French.
Export your guest list as a CSV file from Piktable and send it to us: we import it.Piktable lets you export your guest list as a CSV file. Send the file to contact@couverty.ch and we import it into your Couverty account. You then replace the widget code on your website, then the link on your Google Business Profile, or you turn on the Book button from Couverty. Allow about an hour.
